Te Aud Romania and Rugby Club Gura Humorului have come together to offer a fantastic experience in a small town in North-East Romania to a talented rugby player, interested to volunteer with a local charity for either a 6 or 12 month period.
Rugby Club Gura Humorului is a community rugby club, founded in 2018, to offer the opportunity to junior rugby players continue their sports career at professional/semi-professional level.
Te Aud Romania is a charity focused on enhancing education and educational opportunities to orphans and disadvantaged children in Romania.
Responsibilities:
- Represent Gura Humorului RFC in the national 2nd division (in which half the teams are professional, half are semi-professional)
- Support the club’s rugby and community development programs
- Help to increase rugby participation amongst young people and adults in the region
- Volunteer with a local charity and have a real impact on the local community

The successful candidate will have the following skills and attributes:
- Experience of playing National League-standard Rugby (in England) or international equivalent
- A passion for rugby and the development of young people
- To act as a role model, developing positive relations with team members
- An ability to work autonomously as well as part of a team
- Good communication and engagement skills, and an outgoing nature are essential
